In a recent X post (below), Apple’s Greg Joswiak hinted at an upcoming product reveal, urging users to “Mac your calendars” for a big week of announcements starting Monday. This teaser aligns with rumors that Apple will forego a full October event in favor of unveiling new products through a series of press releases.

While the specifics aren’t confirmed, all signs point to new Mac hardware alongside the official release of iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. Apple has taken this press-release approach in previous years, often spreading out announcements over multiple days.

According to various leaks and reports, including those from MacRumors, Apple is set to launch its first M4 chip-equipped Macs. Here’s what to expect:
iMac: Expected to include the new M4 chip, but with no major design changes.
MacBook Pro: Entry-level models will feature the M4 chip, while higher-end versions are expected to get M4 Pro and M4 Max variants.
Mac mini: Rumored to have a smaller design, akin to the Apple TV, but slightly thicker. The new models are anticipated to include both M4 and M4 Pro chips.
